Karen Gosling Biography

Mrs Karen Gosling's extensive knowledge and expertise of
psycho-social counseling and social work practice and her personable warmth and positive outlook, makes her
uniquely qualified to guide Gosling International in the business of counseling, corporate EAP staff and executive
counseling, trauma (critical incident) services, and emotional leadership development.
Karen is co-founder of Gosling International, a network of partners and associates for elevating the emotional
wealth of people worldwide.
Karen specialises in relationship counseling, anger and anxiety management, Adult ADD (Attention Deficit
Disorder) coaching, and trauma counseling. She has an innate ability to identify with and assist clients in
emotional distress. You can have no doubt that once you have met and engaged with Karen, she will use all
her 30 years of experience in dealing with people in human support services to facilitate a change for the
better.
A sought after public speaker, Karen was a valued part-time lecturer in medical
social work at the National University of Singapore (NUS) 1998-2000.
Karen has co-authored two books with husband and executive coach, Dr Mike
Gosling:
- Emotional Leadership. Using emotionally intelligent behaviour to enjoy a life of

- Enjoy a life of EASE (2005)
In 2009 Karen launched her third book: Surviving Life Dramas. Stop Whining And Start
Living. Her fourth book, How To Handle Difficult Behavior - And It May Be Your
Own! will launch in early 2010.
Karen graduated with a BA (Social Work) from the University of South Australia and a Master of Public Health
from The University of Adelaide. She is an Accredited Member of the Australian Association of Social
Workers.
